Following the release of ‘Weather Diaries’ Ride will be embarking on a slew of European festival dates this summer, and what promises to be a truly special homecoming show at Oxford New Theatre on July 10th, after which they will embark on a headline tour of the UK in November. Additionally Ride announced a new intimate London date as part of Erol Alkan’s To The Rhythm residency at XOYO on 28th July, further extending their current collaboration with the feted DJ, producer and remixer.

Weather Diaries’ is packed with the classic elements that made Ride one of the defining bands of the early ’90s. Trembling distortion, beautiful harmonies, pounding rhythms, shimmering soundscapes and great songwriting all combine to make an album that’s ambitious in scope, timeless and thoroughly addictive. The album also brings the band back together with mixer Alan Moulder (Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Arctic Monkeys) who mixed their legendary 1990 album Nowhere and produced & mixed its successful follow up Going Blank Again.
