Now, the two piece are continuing to deliver on the hype that surrounds them with a forthcoming debut EP ‘Must Be Nice’, announced today and set for release 22nd July via Counter Records (an imprint of Ninja Tune).

To kick things off, today see’s the release of new single ‘Human Condition’. Effortlessly blurring the lines between electronic and alternative soundscapes, ‘Human Condition’ is a seamless statement of intent. Harnessing their ability to craft moving, relatable melodies, the single further showcases the emotive side to the duo’s sound, laying the foundation for an undeniably forward thinking EP.

Speaking about ‘Human Condition’, 49th & Main said: “This is simply a song about being human. To be human is to make mistakes, to feel emotion and to seek connections. We tried to capture that in a song. We probably did a bad job but hey after all we are human.”

This week also sees the band announced for Glastonbury Festival 2022, with the duo set to play The Acoustic Stage at 12:45pm on Saturday 25th June.
