Sixteen-year-old pop singer-songwriter from Southern California, Ava August, first sang the National Anthem at eight years old and wrote her first song when she was just nine. After coming across one of her singing videos, Ava was contacted by NBC’s The Voice to audition for the show as the youngest contestant in the history of the show making it all the way to the blind auditions. A few years later she appeared in the top 10 on Season 19 of American Idol. Since then, Ava has secured a management deal, performed the national anthem before 70,000+ people at the Los Angeles Rams, Lakers and Dodgers games and much more. She’s spent time in the studio and writing numerous songs with well-known writers/producers all across the world including Jesse Frasue (10+ Billboard No. 1 songs) in Nashville to Will Bloomfield (recent cut with Nial Horan, Holly Humberstone, etc.) in the UK.
