JESSE JO STARK RELEASES ‘APRIL FLOWERS’

April 28, 2017

Jesse Jo Stark releases her second single, the beguiling “April Flowers,” off of her forthcoming EP. Produced by Jason Lytle (Grandaddy, Band Of Horses producer) and written by Jesse Jo and Isaac Carpenter, the song is a hazy reflection on a relationship that’s seemingly run its course but might not be finished yet. From the high of excitement to feeling emotionally brainwashed, the track runs the gamut on describing the pain and pleasure that come with a passionate relationship. Says Stark, “’April Flowers’ is about two dreamers in love but at a dead end.”

Fresh off of the success of her debut, “Driftwood”, with 150K streams on Spotify, Jesse Jo has proven herself to be an exciting new artist on the rise and begun carving out her own niche amongst the musical landscape with her beautiful chords, original verse, dreamy and melodic voice. Jesse Jo’s musical influences, ranging from country, punk, folk to rock and roll, can be heard on “April Flowers,” the single released from Jesse Jo’s label, Sugar Jones Music. Singles, ‘Bad Dream’ & ‘Turnin Blue’ will shortly follow before her debut album drops in late September.
