Music Legends The Neville Brothers To Be Honored At All-Star Farewell Concert Event

NEW ORLEANS, LA – (February 11, 2015) – On Saturday, May 2nd, an extraordinary collection of music stars will come together for New Orleans’ concert event of the year, NEVILLES FOREVER: A CELEBRATION OF THE NEVILLE BROTHERS AND THEIR MUSIC, to bid farewell to a national music treasure. This farewell concert will take place at the Saenger Theatre, and will feature performances by: the Neville Brothers (Aaron, Art, Charles, Cyril), Widespread Panic, Trombone Shorty, Galactic, Allen Toussaint, Irma Thomas, Terence Blanchard, Ivan Neville, John Boutté, Anders Osborne and Ian Neville. Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Grammy Award-winner Don Was serves as music director and will lead an all-star band backing the performers at this incredible concert event taping. Keith Wortman is the creator and executive producer of the show, who recently produced large-scale concert events, music releases, and broadcast specials honoring music icons such as Johnny Cash, Levon Helm, Gregg Allman, Mavis Staples and Emmylou Harris amongst others. Wortman and Was were the producers of last year’s extraordinary concert event, The Musical Mojo of Dr. John. NEVILLES FOREVER: A CELEBRATION OF THE NEVILLE BROTHERS AND THEIR MUSIC will be filmed and recorded for multi-platform distribution throughout traditional and digital media.
