Mike Martinovich and his team are pleased to announce the addition of Sam Cohen to the Red Light Management roster.

Sam Cohen is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, artist, and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. He was recently signed as one of the first artists to Brian Burton’s (Danger Mouse) 30th Century Records. Next week Sam will kick off a Spring 2016 National Tour with White Denim. A founding member of the psychedelic pop band Apollo Sunshine, he released several albums with the group in the early 2000s. In 2009 he formed the solo project Yellowbirds, releasing the debut album The Color in 2011. This release was followed by Songs from the Vanished Frontier in 2013.

Since 2008, Cohen has contributed his guitar playing to albums by Norah Jones, Bob Weir, Walter Martin, Trixie Whitley and Joseph Arthur. He produced Kevin Morby’s (Woods, The Babies) upcoming solo record Singing Saw, and has produced albums for bands such as Pavo Pavo, The Bandana Splits, Alpenglow, and Gold Beach. In 2012, he was guitarist for The Bridge Session, collaboration between The National and Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir.
