January 10, 2017
We’re thrilled to welcome The Marshall Tucker Band to the Red Light Management roster.
This iconic band continues to tour their incendiary blend of rock, country, jazz, and the blues to audiences across the country.
Making this year even more poignant; MTB is celebrating 45 years as a touring band this year.
Nashville, Tenn. (January 9, 2017) — Legendary southern rock group The Marshall Tucker Band (MTB) has entered into exclusive management and booking agreements with Red Light Management and APA. Red Light’s Charlie Brusco and Darren Hagen will helm the band’s day-to-day management with APA’s Steve Lassiter handling booking.
“Doug Gray and I have been friends for over 40 years; making this announcement both thrilling and fulfilling,” says Brusco. “The Marshall Tucker Band has always been a definitive and incendiary live band, I’m happy to report that they still are, as I reaffirmed at a recent concert in Atlanta. The Marshall Tucker Band and their legacy has deep roots in all of our lives and we are very honored and thrilled that they are joining Red Light Management.”
“The Marshall Tucker Band holds an iconic place in American music history,” adds Steve Lassiter, Partner/Head of Concerts for APA Nashville. “For nearly 50 years the band has toured a countless number of miles and captured the hearts of millions. They leave audiences singing their catchy hits for days on end, and we at APA are incredibly excited to be working with them.”
MTB lead singer Doug Gray notes, “We are thrilled to announce our new management and booking companies, Red Light and APA. We are ready to take the 45-year legacy of The Marshall Tucker Band into the next chapter and I know these respected agencies are the perfect fit for us. Onward and upward!”
