THE CRIBS won the ‘Spirit of Independence’ Award at yesterday’s Q AWARDS 2012, for their “Contribution to British Alternative Culture” (to use Q’s phrase). The band, who released their 5th LP “In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull” in May, charting in the Top 10 in the UK – celebrate their 10th anniversary together this year, they were also nominated for BEST LIVE ACT, but lost out to Blur.
