Drive-By Truckers kicked off 2017 with a ripping performance of American Band-opening track “Ramon Casiano” on CONAN last night. Watch it here:
The Truckers are continuing the momentum which began with the release of American Band this past September. That album ended up on nearly every year end best list and has continued to be a strong seller, nearing 40k scanned in the US. The band will be on tour all winter / spring and just announced a southeast tour for April, and a headlining slot at the well-curated Pickathon Music Festival this summer in Happy Valley, OR. The band will also appear at Newport Folk Festival in July (confidential), and will release a Record Store Day 12” comprised of live cuts recorded at Electric Lady Studio this past July.
