49th & Main have today released their eagerly anticipated new mixtape B.O.A.T.Slisten here.

Consisting of nine genre-spanning tracks, featuring double A-side ‘Crash And Burn’ and ‘Said Nothing (feat. SKYLAR)’ as well as ‘Icy’ and ‘Lovin You’, it well and truly cements a new era for the Irish duo, with their diverse range of sounds creating a unique genre hyrbid that appeals to the masses. Following a euphoric appearance at The Great Escape Festival in May, every release proves the pair’s worth as they continue to lap up critical acclaim for their innovative take on dance music.

Speaking about B.O.A.T.S, 49th & Main said: “B.O.A.T.S, Based on a true story, the story being ours so far. The idea behind the title is to represent the two of us in an ‘alien’ environment. It encompasses how we’re feeling in this industry at this stage, still wrestling with the idea that we belong here and are meant to feel at home beside other great artists on rosters & festival line ups etc. The record itself is classic 49th & Main, genres all over the place but designed to soundtrack the best times of your life.”

After being teased with a series of singles over summer so far, today’s grand unveiling of B.O.A.T.S also shines a light on new track ‘Waster’. A laidback summer jam, the song almost strikes an uncanny resemblance to it’s namesake, with lolloping guitar lines weaving between rippling synths.

Hailing from Kilkenny, the duo have been making unbelievable waves across the globe – selling out every headline show to date in a matter of hours, including the 1,000 cap Dublin Academy, amassing over 70 million streams and appearing as cover stars for Spotify’s RADAR and Apple Music’s Up Next. The duo also recently played the final ever show at Printworks, as well as a roadblock show at The Great Escape.

As something that has been an important part of the 49th & Main journey, the band are also urging anyone to donate blood where possible, visit GiveBlood.ie or your nearest equivalent for details
