Accounting & Human Resources Assistant (Charlottesville)

We are looking for a highly organized, dependable, and motivated Administrative Assistant to support our human resources and accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Accounting and Human Resources with day-to-day administrative and operational needs
  • Assist employees with expense reporting support in Concur, including answering questions and troubleshooting basic issues
  • Manage general mail and shipping duties, including sorting and distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing packages, and coordinating with carriers
  • Keep the office organized and stocked with supplies
  • Maintain an office meeting calendar
  • Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality 

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of administrative or office experience

TOUR MARKETING COORDINATOR (NASHVILLE)

Primary duties include developing, implementing and evaluating marketing and ticketing strategies focused on emerging artists with a primary goal of selling tickets and maximizing marketing budgets. Working with managers, agents, ticketing vendors and national and local marketing individuals to build timelines, organize & execute artist specific marketing including but not limited to digital, print, radio, tv and outdoor. Administrative duties supporting the Tour Marketing team will also be applicable.

This position is based in Nashville, TN.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee event marketing budgets
  • Establish announce & on sale dates and send weekly calendar updates to all team members
  • Communicate with managers, agents, promoters and ticketing personnel
  • Direct & oversee the development & implementation of tour creative materials
  • Work with digital team for online marketing initiatives, social media & email campaigns as they relate to the tour
  • Track local & national media demonstrating value of paid, promotional, and PR tactics for settlements & end of tour sponsor recaps
  • Direct and plan promotional projects in sync with PR efforts to maximize exposure for the tour nationally and in local markets.
  • Coordinate fulfillment of sponsor requirements as they relate to the tour
  • Create marketing & ticketing letters for each tour
  • Coordinate presale and on sale timelines and communicate to appropriate parties
  • Review holds routinely to ensure availability and to maximize sales potential
  • Assist VP of Tour Marketing with various administrative responsibilities

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent organization & communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently
  • Solid knowledge of planning, digital marketing & social media marketing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, agents, promoters and ticketing vendors as well as local marketing and ticketing teams
  • Ability to plan, organize, and oversee the implementation of advertising, promotion, and publicity programs
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, Google and Adobe programs

Marketing & Content Creation Manager (Los Angeles)

Silverback Music and Red Light Management are looking for an experienced marketing manager to report to senior managers for an established music roster and record label.

  • Knowledge and a passion for music of all genres particularly alternative, hip hop and reggae.
  • Overall marketing manager for tours, single/album releases, merch, festivals
  • Graphic design, video editing, project management, and social media experience.
  • Must have experience working with labels on music releases and coordinating tour marketing.
  • Experience working with DSP’s on releases and knowledge of algorithms as well as social media
  • Experience working with high profile artists. Minimum 3+ years in a similar role, at a music management company or label.
  • This role requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position is full-time and based out of Los Angeles, CA but open to remote work.

RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Creative Project Management
    • Coordinate with illustrators, designers, animators and video editors to create high quality digital content, show posters, tour art, merch designs, album covers, etc.
  • Graphic Design & Content Creation
    • Work to create visually appealing graphics and videos for use on social media, tour assets, music releases, merch, etc.
  • Marketing Manager
    • Extensive knowledge of marketing and algorithms on DSP’s and social media
    • Develop marketing plans and creative ideas for releases, tours, merch, content, etc.
  • Merchandise
    • Coordinate with artists merchandise partners
    • Manage e-commerce stores, help to create tour merch lines, review and analyze sales and inventory
  • Label Marketing
    • Create and implement strategic digital marketing plans for releases across Silverback Music’s Controlled Substance Sound Labs
  • Social Media Management
    • Execute social plans and roll out strategy to drive engagement goals
    • Manage weekly social media post schedules across various platforms and accounts
  • Street Team Management
    • Communicate with artists fanbase, online and street promo coordination
    • Coordinate with show promoters
  • Digital Management
    • Update websites, build email newsletters, interface with third party digital marketing companies
  • Team Management
    • Schedule calls, meetings, and conference calls between multiple parties
    • Communicate efficiently daily with rest of team
    • Create and maintain spreadsheets, organize Dropbox, update Google Drive
    • Participate, contribute, and brainstorm in meetings. Create meeting agendas & circulate meeting notes

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • Graphic design and video editing skills to help create ongoing content for marketing assets and materials
  • Creative and forward-thinking marketing ideas
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be punctual, proactive, reliable, detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and resourceful
  • Ability to keep track of many ongoing projects with strong attention to detail and excellent follow through
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks with strict deadlines

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe suite
