AN EXCITING, FUN-FILLED BRAND– Chickapig first launched as a grassroots board game in 2016. Due to the game’s immediate broad appeal, original quirkiness and marketability, Chickapig quickly evolved into a full-fledged brand. In addition, a children’s book, Little Joe Chickapig, a Chickapig plush toy, and Chickapiglets (a version of the game designed for younger children) were released in Target this year. Inspired by the momentum and creativity behind Chickapig, Calhoun and Matthews developed a new poker-based game, 25 OUTLAWS, which was released in June. Dave Matthews created all of the original art work for the game.

DEMOGRAPHICS for ages 8+. The game appeals to a wide range from children and their parents to millennials who play games in a group. The game has picked up a very steady following, spurring Chickapig Game-nights in local bars and Chickapig teams and tournaments at schools.
