“Joy Club is an imaginary social club which encapsulates the diverse influences of its members with the aim of sound tracking people’s youth …and biggest / most memorable nights out” – JOY CLUB
Formed midway through 2019, Joy Club is made up of Grammy nominated writers and producers Nathan Cross, James Watts and Rick Boardman who united under the vision for a new artist project. The band come with a strong philosophy, a uniting brand slogan if you will which they are professing from the start, one of openness and inclusivity, with the prime objective to reinforce this message throughout all of their releases and most importantly one of joy, joy for those involved in making the music but most importantly for those who listen and in doing so become members of the club. In the current climate the music has to speak for itself, Joy Club delivery uninhibited feel good electronic dance, beautifully produced and ultimately catchy, with an infectious but familiar melody that will instantly hook you in.
Joy Club got off to a strong start with their hot rework of French DJ and producer Martin Solveig’s ‘Juliet & Romeo’ single, gathering support from the key specialist tastemakers at Radio and Club. Hot off the heels ‘In The Night’ set the pace for their own original releases, pure feel-good dance music, delivering a brightly lit and relatable message direct to the club dancefloor. Anticipation in this club is always high as new music drops.
