Maris forged her own path to internet success by creating innovative content on Vine, now Instagram and TikTok with hundred of thousands of followers and millions of likes. She directs, performs, edits and animates her own projects, allowing her to develop a strong creative vision, which combines contemporary trends with her love of classic film, art, and music. This has created a unique commentary on today’s pop culture. She won the Shorty Award for Vine of the Year in 2015, was included in SHOOT Magazine’s prestigious New Directors Showcase in 2016, and recently won Best Art Vine at the Best Vine Ever Awards, hosted by Snakt, in 2017.

Her recent commercial work includes social media campaigns for brands such as Gucci, Joe Biden for President,  Universal Music, Wimbledon, Kia, SAG Awards, Bates Motel, Getty Images, IMG Models, Hulu, Crayola, and LG.

Together with her sister, Maris is currently producing and starring in The Jones Family Retro Show and developing an exciting roster of creative projects. In 2020, Instagram chose Maris as a featured artist, and highlighted her work on the @Instagram account. In her spare time she continues to direct, write and build her own magical cardboard worlds.
