Reo Cragun

Bio

Reo Cragun moves through sound like architecture — building, breaking, reshaping, never static. His work lives between R&B, hip-hop, electronic, alt-pop — less about genre, more
about the negative space between. Since launching in 2016, Cragun has made self-sufficiency his medium. He writes, produces, engineers — a process designed to keep the ideas sharp, the output honest.“I like to fail fast and fail often,” he says. “There’s a good idea in every shitty beat, and most stories areworth being told.” It’s that loop of risk, repetition, and refinement that gives his music its shape. The breakout moment: Growing Pains (2017), a project that signaled where he was headed, but not where he would stay. Then came Quits, a collaborative EP with Flume — a kinetic intersection of electronic production and vocal experimentation, now past 200 million collective streams. Their partnership extended onto the Grammy-nominated Hi This Is Flume mixtape, cementing Cragun as a voice able to move across worlds. To date, Cragun’s catalog has amassed over 500 million collective streams — a reflection of both the depth of his solo work and the range of his collaborations. He’s worked alongside Flume, Nipsey Hussle, Zhu, Chrome Sparks, RL Grime, Noga Erez, OT Genasis, Kid Ink, and a wider orbit of collaborators, moving with fluidity and intention. Cragun’s music has also landed high-level placements in FIFA 21, NBA 2K22, Hasan Minhaj’s Netflix special Off with His Head, and beyond. Live, he’s shared stages with Billie Eilish and Flume, performed at Red Rocks, and appeared on major festival lineups worldwide. Press Billboard, The FADER, Pigeons & Planes Radio Triple J, SiriusXM, among other global tastemakers. For Cragun, creativity is movement: setting impossible ideas in motion and chipping away
until they take form
