UNFLIRT
Bio
Unflirt, the musical persona of Christine Senorin, is an emerging singer-songwriter from West London whose sound effortlessly blends the ethereal qualities of bedroom pop with the introspective depths of shoegaze. A first-generation Filipino immigrant, Unflirt discovered her distinctive voice amidst the solitude of the 2020 lockdown, transforming late-night moments of stillness into lo-fi, atmospheric soundscapes.
Her debut EP, Bitter Sweet (2023), encapsulates the delicate ache of love, loss, and self-discovery. At its core lies “Differently,” a poignant anthem of regret and fragile acceptance that lingers like the fading traces of a memory. With her sophomore EP, April’s Nectar released later that same year, Unflirt deepens her exploration of emotional complexity, diving further into the tumultuous beauty of connection and heartbreak. Tracks such as “Someday” and “Had Enough” pulse with raw, unfiltered emotion, showcasing her growth as a storyteller unafraid to expose the most vulnerable parts of her soul.
Unflirt’s live performances are a seamless extension of her songwriting, marked by fragility and sincerity. In the Summer of 2024 she captivated audiences across Europe and the UK supporting Aurora, a tour that concluded with a triumphant performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Later that year, she toured Europe with childhood friend beabadoobee, delivering intimate acoustic sets that further solidified her presence within the indie music scene.
Unflirt’s latest single, “talk2me”, released at the tail end of 2024, is an exploration of longing, vulnerability, and the complexities of communication in modern relationships. The song is an introspective dialogue between the need for connection and the uncertainty that often accompanies it.
With “talk2me”, Unflirt continues to carve out her space in the indie music landscape as an artist capable of blending subtle introspection with emotionally rich soundscapes. Her music speaks to those who ache, dream, and yearn, offering a quiet, yet powerful reminder that some of the most profound stories are told in the softest, most intimate ways.
