Nashville, TN – October 11, 2019 – As 300 Entertainment’s Bailey Bryan’s PERSPECTIVE EP becomes available today, Bryan is also premiering the official music video for “Where We Started,” taken from the collection, exclusively with PEOPLE. Yearning for respite from an ongoing relationship rough patch, the video directed by John Tashiro showcases Bryan with The Bachelorette contestant Mike Johnson playing her love interest. The video reflects on the pair’s relationship in happier times, as the two enjoy New York City together while documenting each moment as a retro-style home video. Bryan co-wrote the rom-com inspired video’s soundtrack with renowned songwriters Wrabel (Kesha, Bishop Briggs), Scott Harris (Shawn Mendes, Bebe Rexha) and Smarterchild.

“’Where We Started’ is a hopeful, but also realistic look at a relationship beyond the ‘honeymoon’ stage,” said Bailey Bryan. “The music video is a reflection on the good times, the memories that make it so hard to face when the present is falling apart. I’ve always dreamed of making a video that has a nostalgic rom-com feel to it and filming in New York City really brought that to life…and so did Mike! Shooting with him was effortless and I can’t wait for people to see the fun we had that day.”

Bryan’s PERSPECTIVE EP has already garnered attention by Rolling Stone as an “unapologetic modern-pop project” that “maintains the lyrical voice that first earned her attention as a new artist, co-writing each of the five tracks” (Rolling Stone). PERSPECTIVE includes the “soaring” (Refinery 29) track “Songbird,” as well as the title song as it was written in its original demo form and the foundation of the whole project. Watch Bryan share more details behind the project here.

Bryan also recently announced that she will be taking her new music on the road this fall for an intimate six-date stint of her headlining Perspective Tour. The singer/songwriter is set to launch the limited run at The High Watt in Nashville, TN on November 10 and will go on to hit major cities across the eastern half of the U.S. Tickets are available beginning today at baileybryan.com.

A Washington State native, Bailey Bryan burst onto the scene with her instantaneous 2017 debut So Far. The four-song collection heralded immediate critical acclaim and landed her on Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly’s “Artist You Need To Know” lists, as the Billboard “Chartbreaker” turned heads for her “rich songwriting” (New York Times) and infectious sound. She has played for live audiences across The U.S and Europe, as well as slots on some of the country’s biggest festivals and more. To follow updates on new music and from the road, visit www.baileybryan.com.
