Big Wild has announced the release of his highly-anticipated debut album, Superdream. Set for release Feburary 1st, 2019, via Counter Records, Superdream sees Big Wild (aka Jackson Stell) pushing the boundaries as a producer and artist like never before, as he serves as the primary lyricist, singer and songwriter for the first time ever. Each song is diverse in sound and scope and represents the full spectrum of emotions and experiences that are central to the essence of being: in one moment, you’re dancing out of your seat, only to find yourself in joyful tears seconds later. The album title, thus, reflects this amalgamation: a super dream combining all of life’s curious, inspiring occasions.

The album’s first two lead singles, “Joypunks” and “Maker,” are out now, with additional tracks to be released in the coming months.“Joypunks” offers a massive electro groove, and has received adds to major playlists such as Spotify’s New Music Friday AU & NZ, Friday Cratediggers, We Be Vibin, Indie Arrivals, New Dance Beats, along with many others; as well as Apple Music’s The A List: Electronic in 36 territories, Breaking Electronic in  72 territories, Best of the Week in 4 territories including US & CA, Midnight City in the US & more.

Whereas “Maker” topped HypeM’s charts at #1, serving as an ethereal introduction to Big Wild as a vocalist anchored by a funky drop with an ‘80s influenced array of synths aplenty. Thus far, the double single release has received significant critical acclaim; as Dancing Astronaut asserts, “the second track “Maker” shows us Big Wild’s versatility. It’s more pop-oriented as a leveled out feel ebbs through most of the track allotting a larger focus towards the vocals while still staying true to the formula of a dance song. It’s all there. Both tracks are a tribute not to just what Stell can do, but what he will do in the near future.”

On the live circuit, Stell has sold out the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, performed at Lollapalooza, Coachella, Bonnaroo, EDC Las Vegas and San Diego’s CRSSD Festival. This December, he will co-headline with Louis the Child at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco and WaMu Theater in Seattle. Coinciding with the release of Superdream, Big Wild will kick off a 17-date headline tour across the US next year, which will bring the Superdream album experience to the stage via a brand-new live show.
