Borgeous comes out the gate today all cylinders firing with his first track of 2019, “Leave”, a collaboration with 18-year old quadruple threat, Jordyn Jones, mixed by Alex Tumay. Jordyn’s vocals float effortlessly across the uplifting backdrop, while Borgeous puts it all together in an infectious, pop-infused production complete with a towering topline and sing-a-long worthy songwriting. “Leave” has already amassed 27+ playlist adds globally on release day. The track is spinning all day on iHeart’s Evolution Radio.
The official music video, which premiered on YouTube this morning, features the pair taking over a high school, dancing in the gym, playing basketball, and just having a carefree moment of fun. Despite the lyrical content of “Leave” which echoes an independent woman, Jordyn still calls out the ex-lover who has left her and now regrets it.
Jordyn comments on the track saying, “The song is super upbeat and fun to dance to! It definitely gives off Coachella vibes. Borgeous and I had so much fun in the studio recording that we even became Fortnite buddies after!”
