Let’s Try The After – Vol 1 is out now. The EP follows 2017’s Hug of Thunderwhich saw the collective exploring new ground while maintaining the awesome dynamics that have made Broken Social Scene one of the most beloved alternative bands of the last fifteen years.  Such forceful beauty—a sense of indefinable, life-affirming ecstasy—is practically woven into Broken Social Scene’s DNA at this point,” said Pitchfork. “And Let’s Try the After is proof that their genetic makeup is as complicatedly pure as ever.” Last week it was announced that a forthcoming Broken Social Scene release is to be expected on Record Store Day. More details to be announced soon.
