CHARLY BLISS

ANNOUNCE IT’S A BLISSFUL LIFE

A HOLIDAY LIVESTREAM ON DECEMBER 12TH AT 7 PM EST; RELEASE “MARBLE (DEMO)” FOR 24 HOURS TODAY ON BANDCAMP

Charly Bliss have announced It’s A Blissful Life, a holiday livestream on December 12th at 7 PM EST.  The event will feature Christmas covers, special guests, a live discussion and more of the heartfelt hilarity the band is known for in their version of It’s a Wonderful Life.

Tickets for the livestream can be purchased at charlybliss.com

They’ve also released the song “Marble (demo)” for one day only today exclusively on Bandcamp. All proceeds from the song will go to support the leader of their fan club (the Charly Bliss Potatoes) who is undergoing gender confirmation surgery.

Press for these so far in UPROXX, Brooklyn Vegan, and Mixdown.

PRAISE FOR CHARLY BLISS:

“The Brooklyn band’s second record is bigger and darker, amplifying their ’80s new-wave sparkle into ecstatic triumph.”
Pitchfork

“Arena-scaled pop-rock… In addition to a switch to a larger-scaled sense of synth-driven pop-rock,

Young Enough marks a blossoming and maturation for Hendricks as a songwriter. ”
Rolling Stone

Young Enough is going to fully establish them as one of the best guitar groups in the world.”
The FADER

“Deliriously fun power-pop.”
NPR

“Can someone remind me why they aren’t the biggest rock band in the world yet?”
Jezebel

“More measured but no less cathartic… Eva Hendricks continues to pen some of the smartest, most affecting lyrics in indie rock.”
Stereogum

“Irresistible pop… It’s surprisingly danceable, and a pop-minded direction that wouldn’t feel out of place on a playlist with Tegan & Sara or Carly Rae Jepsen.”
Noisey

“The new record unapologetically embraces the first half of the pop-punk designator the Brooklyn band earned on their debut.”
Consequence of Sound

“The band has always embraced joy and energy in their music, and their evolving sound is a natural progression from the melodic, earworm-catchy bubblegum grunge of their previous record.”
UPROXX

“Has all of the band’s signature power-pop sound, but this time it appears to be pointed more towards major-key synths than the punk fervor of their debut record Guppy.”
