ENRIQUE IGLESIAS FINALIST TO THE BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS 2021

Year after year and hit after hit, global superstar Enrique Iglesias consistently demonstrates why he is one of the most popular Latin artists of all time, and today he adds to his list of impressive accolades as a finalist to the prestigious Billboard Latin Music Awards 2021 in the Latin Pop Artist of the Year, Solo category, which was announced this morning during Telemundo’s “Hoy Día.”
The Latin Billboard Music Awards will be broadcast live by Telemundo on Thursday, September 23rd, 2021, at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida.
Iglesias is preparing to kick off his historic North American arena tour in Las Vegas, NV on September 25, co-headlining with Ricky Martin. Iglesias’ latest single and 2021 summer anthem, “Me Pasé” featuring Farruko, has quickly become yet another irresistible, worldwide hit for the legendary icon, who holds the record for achieving the most #1 hits on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart (27) and has racked up 39 top 10s on the same chart (also the most for any single artist in history), in addition to 31 #1s on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart, over the course of his luminous career.
Since its release last month, “Me Pasé” continues to experience incredible large-scale success, dominating a variety of the most important music charts and playlists around the world, including Spotify’s VIVA LATINO playlist, and garnering more than 20 million streams to date worldwide, with more than 540K daily streams across digital platforms. The single ranks among the Top 10 on Billboard’s Latin, Latin Pop, and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts for the fourth consecutive week and currently holds the #24 position on the Hot Latin Songs chart. “Me Pasé” also currently ranks at #1 in Mexico’s airplay across various cities, certified by MONITOR LATINO, and is receiving widespread play by DJs on the beaches and holiday resorts in Mykonos, Crete, and Croatia. In Poland and Romania, “Me Pasé” recently entered the TOP 20 radio airplay chart, while the single has received significant support in Germany by one of the country’s largest radio networks, Energy.
On YouTube, the official music video has accumulated more than 19 million views and ranks among the top 5 in Mexico, the U.S., Argentina, Spain, and Colombia.
