“Gypsy-Punk” mavericks, GOGOL BORDELLO, will be contributing their take on the beloved “Rock ‘n’ Roll Suicide” to the upcoming star-studded HOWARD STERN TRIBUTE TO DAVID BOWIE – Airing Friday February 9th at 10:00pm on SiriusXM Howard101. Other contributing artists include Peter Frampton, Daryl Hall, Biffy Clyro, Car Seat Headrest, Dawes, Bleachers and many more (See the full list of artists and songs below)!

The Howard Stern Show remarks, “In 2016, the world lost a luminary of music when David Bowie passed away at the age of 69. In celebration of his life and work, the Howard Stern Channels are proud to present a one-of-a-kind musical tribute hosted by his longtime producer Tony Visconti and featuring 25 unique artists interpreting the innovative and timeless music of David Bowie.”

Gogol Bordello frontman, Eugene Hutz, expressed his appreciation for the late rock giant, saying exclusively to The Howard Stern Show, “A brilliant music writer with mania for progress and endless shape-shifting, yet with a very strong soul presence behind all the masquerade. And with very pronounced loving kindness about him. I believe it was exactly the kind of presence that [noted spiritualist] Edgar Cayce described as supra-consciousness.”

In addition, Gogol Bordello is gearing up for their West Coast tour (full list of dates below) which kicks off mid-February in Vancouver and hugs the coast to Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre on March 5th! Accompanying them again on this trek is the high energy five-piece brass band LUCKY CHOPS who were described by NPR Music as a, “Totally on fire, big ass brass band… gnarly, punky and funky.” The fierce horn players of Lucky Chops will even be sitting in on some songs with Gogol Bordello making for a unique and unforgettable time!

Tickets can be purchased here: Gogol Bordello will then travel to Australia immediately following the West Coast dates and onto a world tour for the Summer.
