Each episode pairs an established artist with new talent, providing a platform to amplify those acts missing out on an important Summer of live performances this year. As the world faces a summer without live music events, Barclaycard broadcasts these unique music shows online with YouTube.
‘Share the Stage’ will feature exclusive headline performances from artists including Lewis Capaldi, Kaiser Chiefs, Mabel and a number of emerging acts, that have been recorded especially for Barclaycard live from Abbey Road Studios, London. Each headliner will be supported by up-and-coming talent, providing a platform to amplify acts who will miss out on festival slots and live gigs this summer – performances that are crucial in establishing artists on the music scene. Each headliner will also cover a song by their support act.
Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, each show sees artists reminisce about their favourite Festivals and chat to Fearne about what they’ve recently been up to in an exclusive interview, before taking to the stage to perform. The show will begin as a series on Channel 4 in late August.
