Nashville, TN – (February 5, 2016) – Grammy Award-winning recording artist Kristian Bush — also known as one half of the platinum-selling country duo Sugarland — makes a splash today with the announcement that he has signed a label, production, and publishing deal with Nashville-based BBR Music Group. He will record and release his sophomore solo album for their Wheelhouse Records imprint, and continue his BMI Award-winning songwriting as part of their Magic Mustang Music publishing family. It was also announced that Bush has written and performs the new theme song for TLC’s hit reality series Say Yes to the Dress, whose 14th season premieres March 4. “Say Yes (Forever Now)” was inspired by Kristian’s guest appearance on an episode of SYTTD this season: He was on the scene at Kleinfeld Bridal as Evyn — the fiancee of his guitar tech, Frankie — picked out a gown for her upcoming wedding. The new theme song will be released digitally to coincide with the show’s premiere. Listen to a sneak peek in’s exclusive video from this morning:

KB made an impressive solo debut with the 2015 release of Southern Gravity. The album hit the Top 10 of Rolling Stone Country’s Best of 2015 list, and won international raves for its feel-good commercial country sound. Its first single, the irresistible “Trailer Hitch,” reached the Top 20 — making Bush only the fifth artist in the past three decades to hit that mark after first finding success as part of a duo. Bush, who produced the album alongside longtime engineer Tom Tapley, also co-wrote all 12 tracks, including buzzy sophomore single “Light Me Up.” The new partnership with BBR/Wheelhouse/Magic Mustang launches the newest chapter in Bush’s storied career as a once-in-a generation talent who never gives up.

Bush has been leaving his mark on music for more than two decades. The singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist started his career with folk-rock duo Billy Pilgrim in the early ‘90s; in 2004, he exploded onto the country music scene with Sugarland, surpassing sales of over 22 million albums worldwide, achieving five No. 1 singles and winning numerous awards, including GRAMMYs, AMAs, ACMs, CMT Music Awards and CMAs. He currently serves as a celebrity ambassador for Goodwill Industries International, with “Trailer Hitch” featured as the centerpiece of their #GiveItAway campaign. Bush was also the focus of NASH TV Films’ first-ever documentary WALK TALL: The Journey Of Sugarland’s Kristian Bush, which aired in 80 markets nationwide. KB is already in the studio writing and recording his next album; meanwhile, fans can catch his dynamic live performance at a number of A-list festivals through the summer, including Country 500, Stagecoach and Tortuga Music Festival.
