Nashville, TN – October 14, 2013 – Reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year and 2013 CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee Luke Bryan wrapped his fifth “Farm Tour” over the weekend performing for 115,000 fans in the eight-city run, fifteen thousand over last year’s attendance.
As part of giving back, a local college will receive a “Luke Bryan Farm Tour Scholarship,” which will be given to a student from a farming family within the communities the tour has played.  Those colleges include:

Statesboro, Georgia – Georgia Southern University
Athens, Georgia- University of Georgia
Columbia, South Carolina   – University of South Carolina
Macon, Georgia- Mercer University
Villa Rica, Georgia- University of West Georgia
Auburn, Alabama- Auburn University
Tallahassee, Florida- Florida State University
Valdosta, Georgia – Valdosta State University

The idea for the “Farm Tour” concerts came from Bryan as a way to give back to local farming communities by celebrating and lifting up the American Farmer and offering a fun escape with the outdoor shows.
“Farm Tour” 2013 was sponsored by BMI, Cabela’s, Harveys Supermarket, Miller Lite and Texaco.
