Ahead of the anticipated release of her new EP ‘Undertones’ released this Friday, and fresh from her stunning Great Escape Festival performance last week, Mysie shares her new single ‘Seven Nights’.

The new cut takes Mysie’s intimate indie-soul to new heights, with her captivating vocals taking centre stage once again, and accompanied by the following music video here. Following ‘Keep Up With Your Heart’ and ‘In My Mind’, ‘Seven Nights’ is the final taster from her upcoming EP which will be released this Friday via her new label home 70Hz, owned by her mentor, producer and now close collaborator Fraser T Smith.

There is, despite the unassuming indie nature of Mysie’s songwriting, a core idea of love being lived in a maximalist manner; so fully it’s close to bursting point. Mysie is an artist who doesn’t seem fussed about half measures, but even when her whole soul is in it, there’s a gorgeous restraint, somewhere, reining things back in.

Seven Nights is about the excitement of fast loveexplains Mysie. “It’s about doing something out of the ordinary, booking that plane ticket and chasing a love that you want but have no clue as to where it will end up. It’s about staying in the moment and enjoying every little part of that love, no matter what the outcome may be“.

With a game changing Ivor Novello win last year and a slew of bold, progressive releases under her belt already, Mysie has been on a phenomenal rise. Her debut EP Chapter 11 was released in 2019 and following singles such as Bones & Patterns catapulted her into the limelight as a limitless, creative force behind not just her music, but every aspect of the accompanying visuals for each track. Her vision is as laser sharp as her songcraft. Mysie’s undoubtable talent was celebrated by the prestigious Ivor Novello Awardstoo, where she picked up the inaugural Rising Star Award last year off the back of her early releases.

Support for Mysie continues to snowball from all corners of the media this year, including The Fader, Hunger, Notion, NME, Sunday Times, Colors, Crack, The Independent, Radio 1, 1xtra & 6 Music whilst also being tipped by the likes of The Line Of Best Fit, TMRW, Dork & Gal-Dem as an exciting new artist to watch for 2021.

Mysie is all about looking forward and constantly evolving, with Undertones being the next exciting new chapter in that evolution. More music will be shared in the coming months and Mysies first live performance of the year will be in front of an already sold-out crowd at London’s Omeara on 30th June.
