Saint Asonia Win Best New Artist In 5th Annual Loudwire Music Awards

December 1, 2015

(December 1, 2015 – loudwire.com) – Congrats to Saint Asonia! The band was voted by Loudwire’s readers as the Best New Artist in the 5th Annual Loudwire Music Awards.

While the group is new, the band members certainly have a strong pedigree in the world of rock. Led by former Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier and featuring Staind guitarist Mike Mushok, Dark New Day bassist Corey Lowery and former Finger Eleven drummer Rich Beddoe, the four-piece outfit are very familiar with the top of the rock radio charts. With their self-titled album, the band members reclaimed their spots at rock radio thanks to the singles “Better Place” and “Let Me Live My Life.”

Saint-Asonia-1

It turned out to be a tight race throughout the voting, with Red Sun Rising putting up just shy of 35 percent of the final tally to Saint Asonia’s 40 percent. Highly Suspect, winners of the Best Rock Song category, finished a distant third in the voting.

Kudos to Saint Asonia for their breakout year! The band is the Best New Artist in the 5th Annual Loudwire Music Awards and will keep the momentum going with more dates rolling over into 2016.
