In the spirit of the holidays, Los Angeles songwriter and multi-instrumentalist SASAMI is sharing a 3-track single titled lil drmr bb today. Available digitally, it comprises an industrial, synth-heavy take on “Little Drummer Boy”, a French-horn-accompanied cover of “Silent Night”, as well as an original song, “It’s You”.

lil drmr bb was recorded in LA by SASAMI and Kyle Thomas (a.k.a. King Tuff), and mixed by Andrew Sarlo.

Additionally, in partnership with coffee beans & zine subscription service Yes Plz, SASAMI has curated an issue of their weekly print zine. This special issue features SASAMI’s writing—an editor’s letter, a look at one of her favorite clothing labels, HARDEMAN, and a piece on Vagabon’s new self-titled LP—as well as an in-depth interview with SASAMI and a review of her grandmother’s unique kimchi shop in LA. The SASAMI-curated Yes Plz Issue 053 is available to order online until Sunday, November 24, accompanied by a SASAMI-inspired coffee blend, shipping out Monday, November 25.
