TRANCE PIONEER FERRY CORSTEN REVEALS HIS NEXT CHAPTER WITH THE RELEASE OF ‘I LOVE YOU (WON’T GIVE IT UP)’ VIA FLASHOVER RECORDINGS

July 27, 2018

Hailing from Rotterdam in the Netherlands, Ferry Corsten is no stranger to exemplifying his trademark trance sound to the masses and for his next output ‘I Love You (Won’t Give It Up)’, Ferry provides a throwback to the oldschool with an electro-trance spectacle that is not to be missed. After exploring his love for storytelling, his passion for science fiction and his lifelong bond with music through his Blueprint album in 2017, 2018 saw the launch of Ferry’s latest project ‘UNITY’, a concept consisting of collaborations with iconic trance acts with the vision of uniting the trance community for a bigger cause.

After focusing on UNITY for the first part of the year, resulting in collaborations with legendary dance music pioneer Paul Oakenfold and longtime member of the Flashover stable DIM3NSION, the Rotterdam native returns to solo duties with his signature sound in his latest track ‘I Love You (Won’t Give It Up)’.Transcending electro synths with a combination of building velocity and melody reveal his ability to coax the maximum impact from electronic dance music of all genres, not just trance, but also progressive-house and electro. Corsten’s skills and capacity to intertwine electro urban bounce with his own trance stylings is indicative of critically acclaimed landmark tracks such as ‘Punk’ and ‘Rock your body, Rock’, which ignites a nostalgic sibilance to his latest release.

Ferry never allows room for error. Whether he is seeking a new collaboration, alias or experimenting with genres, his ability to produce new stimuli for his ever-evolving fan base is a force to be reckoned with.

I Love You (Won’t Give It Up) is out today, 27th July via Flashover Recordings.
