Twin Peaks “Down In Heaven” Out Now!

New York, NY – (May 14, 2016) – Today’s the day! Twin Peaks’ new record, Down In Heaven, has been released to the world and can be purchased, spun, streamed, cranked, danced to, and blasted out car windows. Since it is release day, the boys have a bunch of celebrations planned. First off, they’ve released a new video for the song “Butterfly,” a bizarre, surrealistic and ghoulish romp in a graveyard, inspired in part by the acid trip scene in Easy Rider, and directed by Ezra Ewen.

Also, the band is playing a record release show in their beloved hometown of Chicago (streaming here at 8:45 CST) that sold out in hours, just a day before an in-store at Reckless Records, which will be carrying an exclusive version of the album featuring a limited-edition coloring book designed by Clay Frankel himself. And the guys have another special treat for Chicago. From 2PM-4PM, the band encourages Chicagoans to look to the skies. It’s a bird! It’s a plane! Wait, it IS in fact a plane. And it’s towing a message to Chicago from the band that will forever call it home. But don’t worry, the guys aren’t just taking care of their hometown. Indie record stores all over the US are carrying an exclusive version of the album that includes a limited-edition 7″ with two songs not available anywhere else. .
Following that, the band will be running a Reddit AMA on the /r/music subreddit literally from the backstage of their show. Get your questions in starting at 3:30 PM CST, and the band will hop on and start answering at 5PM CST.
Finally, following their Chicago kick-off, the band hits the road, with both headline dates and gigs supporting Cage The Elephant on a leg of arena shows. Don’t miss ’em!
