Hayden James – Lifted / Album Release April 8
April 6, 2022
With the release of the full LP on Friday (APR 08), ‘Lights Go Down with SIDEPIECE’ is the focus track and the official music video will come on Thursday, APR 07 @ 9p PT / 12p ET / 2p AEDT. Shot by Taylor Bonin, the clip captures the intended feeling of the track – earnest and jubilant joy. In some positive early signs, the single has been preemptively added to KISS Dance with a launch date set for Friday.
Fans are really amped for the release, and the social chatter across Hayden’s channels has been really incredible to see. The LP has been teased by Billboard and UPROXX, while the US PR team secured a print feature in DJ Mag around the drop as well. In addition, the record is locked as triple j’s Feature Album of the Week for w/c APR 18 and Hayden is penciled in for a handful of interviews leading into LIFTED.
Apple Music teased the album last week with a homepage banner, and the team has confirmed a mobile home banner in the US and ANZ + a premium HPTO on Spotify for Friday.
Hayden will be playing both weekends at Coachella in April, and will also be behind the decks at his album launch party next Wednesday, APR 13 in Los Angeles.
