This Sunday, March 9th, tune in to CBS Sunday Morning to delve into the history of Preservation Hall and its band. Both known as American institutions, they continue to preserve New Orleans jazz as well as pass it along to new generations. With this idea in mind, three generations of Jaffes will be in the segment including co-founder Sandy Jaffe, current bandleader Ben Jaffe and Ben’s 19-month-old daughter Emma.

Last July, the band released That’s It!, their first album of new compositions in its entire fifty year history, which was produced by My Morning Jacket’s Jim James. In continued support of the album, the band is touring the South this March.  Head below to check out the upcoming dates.
