McBride joins Kris Kristofferson, Don Was, Shelby Lynne, and JD Souther for the all-star concert honoring The Academy’s Special Merit Awards recipients.

Los Angeles, CA (October 12, 2016) – Martina McBride is representing Country artists in the line-up of all-star musicians at the Grammy Salute To Music Legends which will be airing Friday, October 14^th at 9:00pm on PBS.
 
McBride along with JD Souther will honor Linda Ronstadt with a collaboration of her hit, “Blue Bayou.”
 
Previously held during Grammy Week in February, this is the first time The Recording Academy has celebrated the Special Merit Awards with a stand-alone event and musical tribute. The celebration was recorded at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
