THE BRONX UNLEASH LONG-AWAITED FOURTH ALBUM TODAY

February 7, 2013

After five long years, Los Angeles’ highly revered punks The Bronx have returned with a long-awaited, ferocious fourth studio album, The Bronx (IV), today via ATO Records.  The album is currently available for purchase in stores and online.

Fans are invited to stream The Bronx (IV) in its entirety with track-by-track commentary now at http://bit.ly/YAz4EU.

In front of a packed, sweaty and near rioting sold-out crowd in Los Angeles on February 2nd, vocalist Matt Caughthran declared, “It’s been a long time coming.”  That sentiment could not be truer.  Five long years have passed since the band’s last proper release with a few of those spent gigging with their side project Mariachi El Bronx.  And as critics continue to point out the band’s return could not  have come sooner!!!  Here’s what a few are saying…..

“The Bronx have made the most focused and diverse record of their career.” – Alternative Press

“The Bronx are back with riotous riffs and howling, shout-along choruses” – Rolling Stone

“The Bronx has turned rage and desperation into a perpetual state of being—and (IV) into a monument not just of survival, but also evolution.” – AVClub.com

“The band’s delivery of these dozen songs is consistently cathartic” – Boston Globe

“Forget the punk or hardcore labels — The Bronx are one of the top hard rock acts of the last decade.” – MetalSucks.net

“The songs still concentrate on packing as much of a punch as humanly possible” – AllMusic.com

“The Bronx are probably the finest punk band of this century” – Kerrang! KKKK

“None of the band’s bolshy character is lost on ‘Bronx IV’, but they do find new places to go.” – NME

“One of this generation’s greatest punk bands” – Metal Hammer 9/10

“There’s no one quite like The Bronx”  – BBC

“An early contender for Album Of The Year” – Big Cheese 5/5
